*New : Temporary Closure of Hellfire Pass in River Kwai

The Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre Management has announced the temporary closure of the site as an initiative to avoid the spread of COVID-19. The site will suspend all entry to both Thai and foreigners beginning 19 March 2020 and will run indefinitely or until the situation changes.

*New : Closure of Puripunn Baby Grand Boutique Hotel in Chiang Mai

Puripunn Baby Grand Boutique Hotel in Chiang Mai will cease to operate starting 01 April 2020. The property extends its gratitude to all those who have supported them for the last 14 years. The Asia World reservations team will contact all agents with affected bookings and provide alternatives.

Rice Barge Cruise Temporary Shutdown

Chao Phraya Charter Company Limited announced the indefinite ceasing of operations of the Rice Barge Cruise program due to current economic conditions. Closure will start from 15 March until 30 September 2020. The Asia World team will contact those with affected bookings and suggest alternatives.

Maya Bay Rehabilitation

Thailand’s Department of National Parks has announced that the closure of Maya Bay will extend up to the middle of 2021. The closure is implemented to give way to further rehabilitation until its ecosystem normalizes.

Elephant Nature Park Itinerary Update

As part of the continuing efforts to promote a more sustainable and natural environment for the elephants at Elephant Nature Park, bathing with the elephants will no longer be part of the program. Instead, guests will only view them bathe from the viewing platform by the river bank. Feeding, meeting the herd and the rest of the activities in the previous itinerary remain unchanged.

Instructions for Guests Arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport

Suvarnabhumi Airport is a single terminal airport with three entrances from the secure area into the public arrival halls. Domestic arrivals will enter through Gate A. International arrivals will enter through Gate B or C. The Asia World Enterprise representative will be waiting at the appropriate area at exit door number 1 (for Domestic arrivals) and exit door number 6 (for International arrivals). In case guests do not see our representative, kindly have them proceed at the ATTA desk located at exit door number1 (for domestic arrivals), and exit door number 6 and 10 (for international arrivals).
